Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / ‘Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
- Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change Notification Alerts:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification ringtone and tap “OK”
