Enable Battery Saving Mode:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Device”
- Tap “Battery” > “Menu” and enable “Battery saver”
Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:
- On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Display” and optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness” ON or OFF
- Access “Sleep” and select a lower timeout option like “15 seconds”
Disable Unused Connectivity Features:
NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.
- Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
- Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Bluetooth” and “Location” quick toggles to turn the features Off
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Location” for GPS options
- Tap “Menu” and select “Battery saving”
- Go back to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
- Disable “Tethering & Mobile hotspot”
Temporarily Switch to 2G Networks:
NOTE: If you want to conserve energy until the next recharge, you can try doing this by switching to 2G temporarily.
- Open “Settings”
- Expand “Wireless & Networks”
- Tap “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
- Enable “2G”
Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

- Launch “Settings” and go to “Apps”
