Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / ‘Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK” to confirm
Change Notification Alerts:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification ringtone and tap “OK”
