Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device via USB
- Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC and locate the audio files
- Copy the desired audio files and transfer them to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notification” folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Go to “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
- Tap “OK”
