Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media file MTP” when prompted or from the Notification shade
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Swipe up on the home screen from the bottom
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “Phone Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Swipe up on the home screen
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification sound” and select the desired ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Wireless alerts”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Turn “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” Extreme threats” and “Severe threats” ON or OFF
