Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media File MTP” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “notifications” directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound” > “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact then tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Save” to confirm
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification sound”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu”
- Go to “Settings” > “Wireless alerts”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Turn “Allow Alerts” “AMBER Alerts” “Extreme Threats” and “Severe Threats” ON or OFF
