Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cord
- Enable “Media file MTP” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on the phone
- Copy and transfer the desired audio files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- Tap “Sound” > “Phone Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone from the list
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
- Open “Settings” and go to “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification sound”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Launch “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Access “Wireless alerts”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
