Transfer Audio Files from a PC to Use as Ringtones:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- Enable “Media Device” / “File Transfer” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files
- Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “notifications” folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound” > “Phone ringtone” or access “Recording” or “Music”
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK”
Change the Notification Ringtone:
- Open “Settings” and go to “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
- Tap “OK”
Enable or Disable System Sounds:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound”
- Tap “Other Sounds”
- Select between “Dial pad tones” “Screen locking sounds” “Vibrate on tap” “Chagrin sounds” “Touch sounds” and “Power up tone”
- Enable or disable the features as desired
- Optionally, you can change the “Emergency tone” settings as well
Enable or Disable Do Not Disturb:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound”
- Tap “Do Not Disturb”
- Select between “Always” or “Scheduled”
- Optionally, tap “Disturb Rules” and select “Alarms only” “Priority only” or “Total silence”
- To disable Do Not Disturb, select “Never”
