Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- Enable “Media File MTP” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notification” folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to assign
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact then tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Save”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification sound”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings” and access “Wireless alerts”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
