Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then sync the account data and contacts with the Android device.

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer and access “Info
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  4. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  5. Once done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  6. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: if your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard” and follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import it to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup for iOS. This app can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
  4. Send the vCard to your own email address and switch to the Android device
  5. Open the email and download the vCard
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app for Android and iOS, Send Anywhere can share contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring computer access.

  1. Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
  2. Launch the app on both devices
  3. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  4. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts
