Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media File” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the computer storage
- Copy and paste the desired audio files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “notifications” folders
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound”
- Tap “Phone Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the device’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Press “Save”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification sound”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alert:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Access “Wireless alerts”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
