Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media File” at the prompt or form the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings” and go to “Sound”
- Tap “Phone Ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to assign
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save” to confirm
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound” and tap “Default notification sound”
- Select the notification ringtone you want to use
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Wireless alerts”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
