Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media File” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the computer storage
- Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound” and tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact then tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Save”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound” > “Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Access “Wireless alerts”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
