Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable “Media File” on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification shade
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the computer storage
- Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Save” to confirm
Change Notification Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Launch “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Wireless alerts”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
