Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and computer
- On the phone, enable “Media File” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC and copy the desired files
- Paste the files to the phone storage, namely in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folders
- Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound” > “Phone ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to assign
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the notification ringtone you want to use for the device
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings” and access “Wireless alerts”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “Extreme threats” “AMBER alerts” and “Severe threats”
