Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable “Media File” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Tap “Sound”
- Tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the ringtone you want to set
- Tap “Save”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound” and tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the notification ringtone you want to use
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Launch “Messages”
- Tap “menu” > “Settings”
- Tap “Wireless alerts”
- Turn “Allow alerts” “Extreme threats” “Severe threats” and “AMBER alerts” ON or OFF
