Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media file” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/ or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “phone ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save”

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “wireless alerts”
  4. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “Extreme threats” “Severe threats” and “AMBER alerts”
