Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media file” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/ or “Notifications” folders
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound”
- Tap “phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu”
- Go to “Settings” > “wireless alerts”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “Extreme threats” “Severe threats” and “AMBER alerts”
