Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media File” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Access “Sound
  3. Tap “Phone ringtone
  4. Select the ringtone you want to set

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu
  4. Tap “Set ringtone
  5. Select the desired ringtone
  6. Tap “Save

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to “Sound” and tap “Default notification ringtone
  3. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Launch “messages
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
  3. Go to “Wireless alerts
  4. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “Extreme threats” “Severe threats” and “AMBER alerts
