Transfer Audio Files form a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media File” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/ or “Notifications” directories
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Phone ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM Card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Save” to confirm

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound” > “Default notification ringtone”
  3. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Wireless alerts”
  4. Turn “Allow alerts” ‘AMBER alerts’ “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats” ON or OFF
