Hey, bought a Motorola V66 and a "FutureDial" data cable. The cable came with no software, just a website where I could download the Drivers. So basically, Ive plugged the laptop into the cellphone, but Im absolutely stumped on what to do next. Theres virtually no documentation on this at all. If anyone can help its apprecaited. Contact me on AIM if you like : "liquidLaptop" or just reply to this, whatever is more convenient. Thanks alot.

The "Futuredial" usb cable is supposedly proprietary to the Futuredial software. It is designed to work with Snapdialer, Snapsync, and Snapmedia software. These software discs can be purchased at www.cellularaccessory.com for a reasonable price and they also have them combined as a lower priced package deal if you want multiple software. If you do not want to use their software, then I don't know what you can do with the cable by itself.

The only other option would be the software from Starfish called Truesync. It normally comes with the data cable, but you can buy it seperately also at http://store.yahoo.com/cellularacces...esyncdisc.html
It is compatible with all carriers. Then, if you get it, you can update to the newest version that just came out at http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/soft..._downloads.htm Then you can use your phone as a modem!

Just thought Id give an update on to what I did in case anyone else has the same problem. I took a look deep into the T-Mobile website and found the T-Mobile Internet Manager, which can be downloaded here: http://www.t-mobile.com/help/services/tz/mgr/index.asp Does exactly what I need it to do. So if you want to go with a T-Mobile Internet plan, dont waste any extra money on software, T-Mobile gives it to you right on their website!
