How doees the system work? I'm going to pick up a phone with a AT&T SIM card in it already, what do I have to do to get another service going on it? Or is it possible to use the older SIM card? The Cell is a Nokia 5190, also getting a Nokia 8860, locked, not sure what I can do with it.
Thanks in advanced!

Well if the old sim card is on the same network you can use it no bother! But if the older sim is on a diff network, you will have ton unlock your fone to all sims! do a google search to find Nokia calculators to give you an unlock code!

Dead Sim
The sim card you are picking up is not going to work bc it was already activated, Just grab the phone and the the pay as you go comes with a sim card no extra charges. They way it works say you get a plan of 44.97 for like 500min after u run out of min you go back in and pay another 44.97 cash credit check or whatever. But if you want you can also set up a credit card on file and it automaticly charges the credit card once your done with your min. Plus it gets u incentives.
