I broke my tracfone motorola v60i, so today i got a tracfone nokia 2600. So i call tracfone and of course i could not understand the guy but anyway i asked them if i can transfer my old number to the new phone and he said yes. So we deactivate my old phone and we activate my new one. While we were activating the new phone he asked for my zip code and i tould him and he said that it was not working or something(remember i cant understand him) So then after like an hour on the phone my new phone number is a number that is not local at all, but i think he said within 24 hours the number will switch to my old number? Im confused? All i want it my old number. Has anyone done this?

sometimes it will take upto 24 hours for a # to get "released" by a provider ( even their own phones) so make sure you turn off your phone for 2-3 minutes then back on and try calling it from another phone to see if your number is assigned to the phone if not call CS back and if you are having trouble understaning them do not be shy about saying so and ask to speak with a different peoson that may not have as bad of an accent just be nice about it and they should be able to help you out pretty quickly
If i helped you some +rep would be good
If I pissed you off then i deserve -rep
and if I really helped you feel free to donate some CPF$
