I heard things about certain providers that a lot of their calls get dropped. Has anyone had this problem with their phone or provider?

Re: Dropped Calls
Have you seen Cingular's new advertising strategy..."The network with the fewest dropped calls."

I've seen the commercials but don't necessarily believe them.

Re: Dropped Calls
According to cnet.com, Cingular has the fewest dropped calls. They are upgrading their network, and since they have done so in my area, I have noticed improvement in service. Any provider you go with is not going to be 100% all the time. When you do choose, make sure to try out the phone all over (in and out of town, in and out of buildings) for the trial period (varies by provider)so you can return it and cancel if you are not satisfied with coverage. Ask friends, family, neighbors and coworkers about their provider/coverage/service.

My House is in a "dead zone" In BC Canada and I'm with bell, have had no trouble with dropped calls anywhere except for a mile radious around my house
Would changing providers help?
If so what provider?
