damit I just renewed my contract with surewest ( I dont think it's been 30 days) you think i can cancel the contract and get a gsm carrier?
Also if i do go that route i pay $35 unlimited min. and text
can i get something similar to that

$35 unlimited minutes and text is a nice price, I don't think you'll match that with one of the bigger carriers. I've never heard of surewest. The Cnet.com reviewers tested this phone on the Cingular network so I'm sure you can buy it through them if you want. Click for review

i was looking at the phone specs and it says Wcdma thats not like cdma?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think WCDMA is another name for 3G network for the GSM carriers. I know that DoCoMo in Japan is using it heavily and Cingular/ATT have started rolling it out as well in some cities. And those are both GSM carriers.
