Gah... sorry I'm not sure where to post this, but here goes. I'm hoping you guys could help me.
Okay, so I had a three-year contract with Rogers and about half way through I quit my job and couldn't seem to get a job anywhere. Needless to say I couldn't pay my bills, eventually it got high, they cancelled my contract and I ended up owing them around $1000.00. That is all squared away and has been paid now. I know, I was ******* stupid and it most likely has messed up my credit.
So now I'm in the situation of having a job, planning on being there for years, need a new cellphone and I don't want the hassle of doing "pay-as-you-go"... So finally, my question.
If I were to go to Rogers and wanted a contract, would they turn me down (a) because of my possibly (and most likely) bad credit at the moment and/or (b) because I messed up and they ended up having to cancel my contract and I owed them a ton of money?
What do you people think?
