Well, it may soon be possible to use your standard CDMA handset from the United States in the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe.

Vodafone, the world's wireless leader, is testing some CDMA service in or around London, England.

Based on the email I got from Verizon Wireless, no one is sure why they're testing CDMA...since LTE is supposed to replace CDMA in a few years anyway.
