    I have to go to the Phillipines in a week. My phone is a Sanyo Mirro and has the unlimited Boost mobile plan. Will my phone work there to call home to the US? Or will I need to find another phone or method?

    Boost Mobile is an extremely low grade prepaid carrier. They barely cover the United States.

    Simple answer is: You will not have any signal in the Philippines or anywhere outside the United States.
