I have recently seen the ads for Metro PCS saying they have a 90% percent national coverage.

Q1. How did the go from a small network to such a large network
?? Did the team up with Sprint and or Verizon on some form or roaming deal.

Q2. when looking at there coverage map. it still looks like the home network is small, but then there is that extend network. Just what is the extended. .19 cents to talk but what about data?


Basically what is behind the claim to the Metro USA and it better coverage?
