Not much was known about the Toshiba Android tablet before, but there has been some details that have surfaced about the tablet. The tablet by Toshiba will be named: Thrive and pre-orders will begin this week on the device.

The price of the Toshiba Thrive tablet will run $429 for an 8GB, $479 for 16GB and $579 for those wanting the 32GB tablet. The Toshiba Thrive tablet will launch with Android 3.1 and will come with the Tegra 2 dual core processor and an IPS display as well as a HDMI and USB ports.

You can pre-order your Toshiba Thrive this week and expect a shipping date in the early parts of July.
