Hi there,
I am in need of some assistance regarding an Iphone 4 problem I have.
Scenario:
I bought an Apple Iphone 4 32 GB on eBay from a seller I cannot locate anymore.
I recieved the phone and I am unable to activate the phone because it is locked. I brought it to my Local AT&T store and local Apple store and they both told me that my phone was not distributed from the USA, but from Australia.
They told me I need to get the phone unlocked by calling one of the carriers over in Australia.
Now I am not too familiar with how this all works, but if you can please shed some light, maybe direct me to which Cell Phone provider\carrier that offers the unlocking of the Iphone 4 that would be great. I so much would hate to sell this phone to another person in the USA who cannot get it to work.
Your comments are appreciated
Thank You
Joe

Re: Iphone 4 Unlocking Problem
Why don't you just contact eBay, tell them you cannot contact the seller anymore.
& the phone is not described as listed.
I'm sure they can sort something out, might be able to even cancel the transaction.
