I am aware of some cell phone service providers out there that offer free cell phone service by referring people to their company.

I am also part of a cell phone service provider that offers free cell phone service too. That is why I went to your profile to see who your are getting your free cell phone service from. Lets us now who your provider is and finish putting in your real name. I hate talking to a made up username.

The two I am aware of is Wow Mobile and Lightyear Wireless. This could be a good topic we could use to bring up cell phone service providers out there that are offering free cell phone service. I just named two of them. Anyone else aware of any more?

Yes, I'm aware of another service that's just getting underway -- I think they went public during the summer. This service is Solavei, and they have a plan where anyone who signs up at least nine people gets free service (and makes money, as well). However, they offer unlimited talk, text, and data for $49/month, so it's a good deal for those who use their phones extensively. And there is no contract.

The company philosophy behind this was instead of paying for advertising, users are rewarded for referring new customers. And it's starting to take off.
