I'm currently using Verizon but thinking about switching carriers if I can find a better deal. Which carrier has the best prepaid deal? I text more than anything, but I do need a few minutes each month to make business-related phone calls. (I'd say less than 60 minutes/month.)

Net10 Wireless is reasonable at $100 for 1,500 minutes that will last 180 days before adding more money to the account. Text messages cost half of a minute. You will be paying 6.6 cents per minute and 3.3 cents per text message.

If you get good T-Mobile coverage they have a $30 plan. 100 talk minutes, unlimited text and data - first 5GB are unthrottled. It's available online and at Walmart (I think).

Another option is Solavei. They use the T-Mobile network. They are $49 for unlimited talk / text / data (unthrottled first 4GB). The interesting thing about Solavei is they are paying back customers instead of advertising. For every three people who sign up through your referral link you get paid $20/month. If you have friends and family who are also looking to switch this could be a very good deal.

I went with Solavei and have been happy with my service. If you have any questions about them I'll try to answer.

For businessperson it’s been suggested to select a postpaid strategy. But one must go for prepaid as they have a lot of options to select what is needed by you and do not have to adhere to the old programs.Use Solavei services,it will provide 4G and 5G systems with a low price value .Now a everyday 4G contacting has become less expensive and many customer get full benefits of service.

Have you heard of Lycamobile? They are a new T-Mobile MVNO. They offer services worldwide and they are one of the top MVNO in Europe.

They have an unlimited call and text plan for only $19 per month. Also, their pay as you go plan have the cheapest rates I've seen.

They are new, but they look competitive. Give them a try, they offer a free SIM in their site.

    Here's the site btw http://www.lycamobile.us/en/
