I don't mean any disrespect to Speak-Out but their service just isn't as good as Telus. With Speak-Out all I can do is just use it as a basic telephone, I can't access any of the other features of my phone ( LG-A341) eg. music player, games, internet etc. Now they (Speak Out) are offering unlimited browsing for $10 a month but I spoke with customer service and I confused this with a data plan which they don't have, that's what I would have needed to download what I am interested in.With their plan one can only browse and not download so hence I wouldn't be able to listen to music with this plan. I wonder if it was even worth buying this new phone and unlocking it because the only difference is that this phone has a camera, if I can't access any of its features.

Which phone are you referring to? You don't need data to listen to music.

LG-A341, I know, but it is simpler with data than having to download from the computer which I can't do.

Very strange that they would let you 'browse' but not 'download'. Browsing by definition is downloading.

Anyway, the phone can take up to a 32gb sd card. You could simply get a card reader and put music on the sd card, then put it in the phone. I assume it has some kind of music player.

But that is the $64,000 question, how to get the music on the card and yes it does have a music player.

you can put the card in a card reader, put the card reader in the computer, copy music files to card, put the card back in phone

make sure to format the card in the phone before use. There is probably a folder that the phone uses titled 'music' or something similar. The files will have to go in that folder.
