User background. I have owned and operated cell phones on a regular basis for the past 10 years.

I use the same original layout but with my scores and explainations using a scale of 1-10(one is best)
7 ----- Ease of phone buying and price. The usual hassels but nothing too bad UNTIL neither my wife nor I received the free unlimited month promised in the add. I guess it took us at least 3 hours of our time to get that straightened out
10 ----- Activation and redeeming airtime. As stated above we had to fight for the promised month. However once we got it... more problems. Now I could not buy additional airtime untill the month was completly expired and the account deactivated! Yes I am serious. Just to buy more time had to wait till the account was deactivat. This of course took an inordinate amount of time but finnally got it done
7 ----- Customer Service. CS folks were mostly nice but impossible to understand. A combination of a heavy foreign accent and routing thru an internet call system (I assume) provided the voice quality of micky mouse on steroids. "Please repeat" became my favorite phrase.
3 ----- Phone quality and functionality. The phone is not bad for the price based on price and the previous one I had. This LG 900 has full keyboard and internet access and facebook
3 ----- Call quality and clarity of voice on other end. Call quality much better than my previous two net 10 phones
3 ----- Signal strength in rural area and ability to make calls inside buildings. Much better signal strength than previous phones
10 ----- Remaining airtime display and notification of minute due date. Here we go again! As you recall we had to let our account deactivate before adding more time. I added 300 minutes plus another 50 for $5 (a "special" offer I suppose). Problem was, after making a two minute call I now show I only have 331.75 minutes left! (That was a SPECIAL OFFER). So what happened to the other 17 minutes? I call them with the usual inability to communicate and after a long rambling attempt I was informed that I was wrong, they were right. Good by. But that is NOT TRUE! Wait! (You get what you pay for.)
2----- Price per minute, roaming, and coverage area. Its the cheapest service around so I give it a two. BUT (you guessed it) YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
