When most people decide they want a cell phone, they usually have a certain phone in mind. They often neglect to research the carrier they are buying it from. Only when they make the purchase do they find out about the contracts they have to fulfill. You can get almost any phone from any provider. Read the fine print before you choose who to buy it from.

I agree with you! The carrier is really a deal breaker for me, and you're right; you can get the same phones from other providers. You need to make sure that there are no hidden charges, and you know what you're signing up to. Get the unlimited data if you are on the Internet a lot because you can actually save more money. Only if the signal is good, and you get service almost everywhere.

a carrier is the most important thing in my opinion because you can get comparable phones with different carriers. function relies huge on carrier quality.

I only opt for best service provider regardless of their costly packages because when on go, I'd only want to get connected with the work via the internet despite of saving money and to experience no coverage sign in the end.

I think a lot of people do just that, look into only the phone they want, and go with whichever provider is advertising it. Most of the time, you can save a lot of money by doing some research before signing up.
