Hi there,
I'm an Australian who visits the US about 2-4 times per year, for about 2-3 weeks each time.
I'm looking for a prepaid plan that will allow me to recharge only when I come to the states, giving me a good 5-10gb data plus limited calls/text. I obviously don't want to have to pay for the months I'm not there using it.
I have a US phone number that I've had for the last 8-9 years I'd like to keep, so I'd prefer not to hook up a different SIM card / number each time I come.
Is there any service provider that would support my requirements? It could be either through a long-expiry plan, or a service that won't cancel if I don't use it for a good 6-9 months.
Thanks,
Josh

But does this still stand after the unpredictable twists and turns of the past two years? In a word, yes: web developers seem to have weathered the storm relatively well. Full-stack developer came in second on indeed’s list of the best jobs, and we can see this continuing through 2022 and beyond. Just search the web for the most in-demand tech skills in 2022 and you’ll find things like web development, software engineering, cloud computing, https://mlsdev.com, and problem-solving.
