Recently I did some research, and I saw on some other forums or sites (not sure now) that alot of people don't recomend the use of the "Task Killers" with the Android. One of the reasons was because of the 2.2 update being able to put Apps in Standby mode while not in use, thus releasing memory for use. Another reason was so they were quick to retrieve when you should need them. I read quite a few things, and finally decided to un-install ATK and have gotten Watchdog Lite, which monitors the apps in use, and alerts if a single app uses too much memory, (50%, etc) and can also be customized for what % you want to be notified at. It will also allow you to kill apps. Since reading all of this, and thinking, I decided to try it, and since I have I am very happy with my decision. My phone seems to be running fine, and I check the Watchdog quite a bit, and have no issues even with several apps in Standby mode.
Anyone got any info on this? Anyone using ATK, and tried to not use it, or vice versa? Anyone got inside info?

Re: Discussion: Task Killer
You are correct. I too have uninstalled task killers from my phone.
