    Wanted to recommend free customisable desktop clock. It's possible to set the clock as a Live Wallpaper and choose from different options like: show time, date, week, wlan id, operator name, etc. You can even create your own background slideshow.     This app looks awesome! Just wondered if you can load app icons on top of it? I still like the home page to have my most important apps on it.

    If it is set as a "Live Wallpaper", it would be on the background, so you should be able to put applications on top of it.
