If you found that the haptic feedback setting was missing after updating your device (droid razr, or Galaxy SIII for example), don't worry, it's not gone - it was just moved.

It's not located under Settings > Sound > System > Haptic Feedback

Re: Haptic feedback on Jelly Bean

    Hello,

I had the same problem and finally found the hidden setting. When you type, do you see a keyboard icon in the status bar? It allows you to choose your input settings and change keyboard options. Click it to open the "Choose input method" dialog box. Next, click the "Set up input methods" button at the bottom. On the following page, click the gear button next to the Android keyboard (AOSP) option. Uncheck the "Vibrate on keypress" and/or "Sound on keypress". This will disable the haptic feedback.
