Re: Data Cable Question
I suggest getting Webjal. You can always go to harrythompson dot com. This site gives you step by step instructions. If it doesn't work, the site also will help you through it. You will also need a music converter. I tried some free ones but couldn't get them to work, so I recommend using dbpoweramp and using your sound recorder (it's on your computer, just go to accessories, click on entertainment and then choose sound recorder). The sound recorder will allow you to make your own ringtones using a music file you already have on your computer. When you have the sound recorder opened, click on file, choose open, find the file you want. Click the play button. You will then use Edit to erase what part of the song you don't want by choosing delete before current position or delete after current postion. When you are done save it in a folder. You will use your music converter (i use dbpoweramp) to convert it to either mp3 or wave format. I use the format of 8000, 8 bits and mono. This will make the file small so you can download it to your phone. There are some good places on this site that will give you better step-by-step instructions.
