    What do I have to do to activate a Motorola Razr V3 with Nextel or can I? My knowlege of cell phone technology is minimal but a friend gave me a Pink Razr cell phone and I like the size as well as having a camera and would like to add it to my Nextel account.

    Easy.

    1. Change all of Nextel's towers to have GSM radios
    2. Give GSM phones to all the rest of Nextel's subscribers.

    Nextel uses iDEN. There are CDMA and GSM versions of the RAZR. Although it's possible to make an iDEN RAZR, one does not yet exist.
