Need Help

I just got a treo 600 from a friend, now it works with my sim card from my regular phone. (Cingular) my question is What is Goodlink? and how Do I reset it?
it always gives me the same error message,

"Goodlink restore"

"Please type in your passcode in order to restore Goodlink on this device"

I do not know the passcode and neither does the guy who gave it to me.
Can the passcode be reset? I know you only have a limited number of chances at the passcode, before who knows what happens.

it seems that most applications are run through there,[goodlink]

Have you tryed to google this "Goodlink" you are talking about?

goodlink is software, it basically helps with the "business" side of the treos abilities (web, email etc)..are you able to use your phone? if you are and you don't need this software just delete it off...or you can backup your treo through the computer and reformat the entire phone to start fresh

yeah, go up in the main screen menu and delete that sucker out. id say get rid of it personally if you arent using it for anything.
