    Hows everyone today!?

Well.. Before I start ranting I want to inform yous that this is my third Palm Treo Pro so far in 3 months.... Going on the fourth.....

I purchased the treo pro upon release ( I would say late february.) I was upgrading from a palm centro (great phone, loved it.). The first week was amazing with this phone, it does EVERYTHING I need it to do, GPS, email, messaging, schedualing... everything awesome..

The first week went by and all of a sudden when ever I would recieve text messages the phone would lock up and freeze on the standby screen (where the time and date is displayed) and I would have to wait until the phone un locked itself for me to view the message (this would take about 2 minutes). Okay... I said whatever because it rarely did it. After that, the main buttons stopped working and I was forced to use the touch screen. This would also subside after a couple minutes. Thats when it started really locking up and freezing. Upon recieving a message the phone would lock up and I would get a white screen with lines running through it, again with about 2 minutes it would un lock itself. Now this started to happen more and more frequently. The ringer wouldnt shut off when I viewed a new message, I would have to switch over to vibrate then back to noise to stop it. So I call up sprint and they replace my phone with a brand new one... Then I get the same problems with the second phone, and now the third.......

Great phone, I love it to death with its stylish sleek look. the qwerty keyboard is awesome to use and the phone does everything! I just wish it would work 110%.....

What I'm wondering is if anyone else has had these issues on their treo pro? Because I'm getting fed up with this non sence.

I guess no one else has had the same problems I have encountered. Oh well, I'm going to call up sprint and let them know all this trouble I'm having and tell them to replace it with the Palm Pre. I'll check out how the Pre works compaired to the Treo Pro.

YES! My cousin and I both have the Sprint Treo pro and we both are having the same problems you are! There is something wrong with the messaging on the treo pro that causes it to slow to a crawl. It also seems to affect the email.

I hard reset last week and everything seemed fine again until this morning when it happened again. I'm paying for the insurance so I'm going to see about a replacement (hopefully they'll let me get another phone since it seems that this phone is defective!)

I have had a palm pro since the day after its release (about 9 months) and I love it! I have experienced the occasional glitch here and there, but you gank out the battery and start over. The sleek phone tends to slip out of my hands from time to time, but you crawl under your car to retrieve the battery and back cover and then you start over. The screen has been showing signs of bubbling, almost as if I had a protective plastic cover that won't lay flat (I do not, believe me, that thing would be long gone if I did). But when the light shines through it, it's unnoticable, so you turn your phone on and keep on going.

Here lately, though, I have been experiencing a new diffuculty that I cannot abide. The touch keys have been freezing up on me. This is especially troublesome when this happens in text mode. Oh no, do not mess with my texts. When I go to press "send", my message is highlighted. When I tap it again, the highlight moves to the message before. Today I selected a message in my inbox in order to reply. When I pressed the center button that usually means "do it", a menu popped up with the first option being delete. I pressed the center button again (not thinking) and deleted my friend's message. Grr!! I was able to retrieve it from my Delete box, but I had a heck of a time getting it to reply since my touch screen was not responding.

It warms my heart to know that others have experienced similar hardships with their palm pro devices. Looks like I'm visiting the Sprint store after I get off work today.
