I have a TMobile G1 and I'm using it on Rogers here in Canada. Rogers is a 3G network but I'm only getting 2G or "Edge" speed. Roger's isn't much help and I've set the "V" to not only use 2G Networks. Any ideas...?

Re: Only getting 2G speed..
Rogers 3G is under an 850 Mhz band
T-Mobile uses 1700 Mhz band for their 3G.
There are many phones that T-Mobile uses that are quad band ( I believe 850/1700/1800/2100 mhz) but many of those are not 3G compatiable with many networks.
To answer your question, tho, the G1 is not capable of handling Rogers 3G network, given the current chipset in the phone.
