Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the HTC One A9s to your computer via USB
- Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files
- Copy the desired files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” / “Ringtones” / “Notifications“ folders
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- Swipe to, and tap “Personalize”
- Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Apply”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “People”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply” to confirm
Change the Phone’s Notification Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & notifications”
- Tap “Notification sound”
- Swipe to, and select the audio file you want to use for notifications
- Tap “Apply” to confirm
