Forgotten password for tmobile sda

I have forgotten my password for my sda is there an over ride so i can get into my phone, i no longer have an account with tmobile so they wont help me i just want to be able to use my camera...Please HELP!!

Have you tried a Hard Reset?

Okay, make sure the phone is off 1st of all. Then press and hold the left and right softkeys and the power button for about 1 to 2 seconds. Next a screen should come up displaying instructions asking you to press the 0 key to reset to factory default. Make sure to press the 0 key within the provided timeframe which is only a few seconds. After that it should erase the phone's memory back to the way it was when first opened out of the box.

You know the 4 skinny little buttons under the screen? The 1st and 4th from the left are the softkeys, 1st(left softkey) and 4th(right softkey).

ok i pressed that and and it said press the 0 and i did and its just sitting on the tmobile screen is that what its supposed to do?
