XV6700 Stylus Pointer Way Off - Help!

Where I tap, Its all a guess. I even tried to do the screen aligment. So that it would fix this. No luck. When the First X comes up, I can not tap directly on the X, only to the lower right. Anyone have a fix on this. I also tried a reset. Pused and held the hole in the bottom. Im not sure if that was a hard reset though. Also I would like to know if there are any new software releases or updates for this. Thanks in advance. Anthony.

if your phone is still under warranty there is a software fix. when this happened to mine i sent it in and that is what the warranty repair said when it came back
