I have an SDA and am planning to switch to Cingular - does anyone know what I would need to do to ensure I can get into the Cingular data network?
    I've read Cingular/ATT supports EDGE.
    Thanks

1.) Why in the world would you switch to Cingulbar?

2.) Don't you need to be exclusively on TMo's network to enable the SDA's data features?

I LOVE T-Mobile, but moving to South Carolina where there is no service.

Congrats on the South Carolina move, I hear both Carolinas are lovely areas to live.

Doesn't TMo have some sort of permanent roaming agreement in South Carolina? You might want to check into this. I'm only being cautious because friends don't let friends use Cingulbar!

Mope, I did check, and have been to visit - I always roam with SunCom, or can manually choose Cingular. I've also talke to the Tmo reps on the phone, said I'm SOL. Cingular rep here indicated my SDA might "log into" T-Mo service when I travel, even though I put a Cingluar sim card in the unlocked device - this sounds fishy, but she said it was the device connectivity software in the SDA.
