Will the Touch HTC work with Mobile Version 7?

I just recieved my Touch HTC from Sprint today. I started to charge it and was browsing for info. I had an Audiovox PPC-6600 and they were not going to support mobile 6. Have I just recieved a phone today and found out that it's outdated? Does anyone know if mobile 7 will run on the Touch? It looks like a great phone. I hope that all of my pocket PC software will work. Any comments or suggestions regarding the Touch will be appreciated.

I don't think wm7 is coming out until 2009, so no one would know, and I don't think it should be a concern yet
