I know this is prob a stupid question but i am extremely new to all of this but i jus got a t mobile dash and when i try to open up word or excel or pp, it goes straight to my documents. can i only view word documents that i put on my phone? or can i create them too. i hope this all makes sense. thanks for the help

You should have the option to create a new document. On my Wing, when I open Word, the left soft button is to create a new document.

There are two versions of Office Mobile: a Standard and Pro version.
Only the Pro version allows you to create blank documents, the Standard version only allows you to open and view documents, you can't even edit them in the standard version.
Its up to your provider on which version they give you, typically the Pro version is for touchscreen phones.
